Anthropic has elevated its AI platform Claude with new file creation and editing functionalities, enabling users to generate and modify Excel spreadsheets, documents, PowerPoint decks, and PDFs directly within the interface. The update, effective since October 21, 2025, targets enterprise and team users initially, with Pro tier access rolling out in subsequent weeks.

Claude's enhanced productivity tools allow raw data to be transformed into structured outputs—complete with statistical analysis, visual charts, and narrative insights—through natural language prompts. The AI operates in a secure private computing environment, ensuring data integrity while streamlining workflows that previously required multiple software applications.
